Himalaya Airlines Waives Date Change Fees for Weather-Affected Passengers

Kathmandu- Himalaya Airlines has announced that it will waive date change fees for passengers affected by adverse weather conditions.

In a statement released on Monday, the airline said that due to disruptions in the road network, special concessions have been arranged for passengers who are currently outside Kathmandu and unable to reach the capital in time.

According to the airline, all international flight passengers flying from Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) are eligible for a one-time free date change. While date changes normally incur a fee, affected passengers will not be charged any additional costs under this arrangement.

This facility is available for passengers who booked tickets for flights between Ashoj 18 to 21, 2082 (October 4 to 7, 2025). Affected passengers must reschedule their flights by Kartik 8 (October 25, 2025).

Himalaya Airlines stated that affected passengers will receive a special discount code via email, and they must contact the Himalaya Airlines sales office in Gairidhara, Kathmandu to make the necessary changes.

The airline noted that this measure has been taken in consideration of passengers’ convenience, safety, and satisfaction.
