As Blood Flows, RSP Seeks Gain- Nation Betrayed by Foreign Influence

Kathmandu – A total of 19 people have lost their lives during the Gen-Z movement, and treatment is ongoing for around 15 individuals who are critically injured. Amidst this situation, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is being accused of intensifying efforts to exploit the unrest for political gain.

The RSP, which has demanded midterm elections, is accused of attempting to exchange bloodshed for votes.

While the Gen-Z movement has raised voices against corruption and demanded the lifting of social media bans, the RSP appears more focused on pushing for early elections.

Some have claimed that Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah is being encouraged to form his own political party, while the RSP is accused of using the call for midterm elections as a distraction from party president Rabi Lamichhane’s alleged involvement in a cooperative fraud case.

Despite public revelations of infiltration into the Gen-Z movement by both the RSP and the group led by Durga Prasai, their demand for midterm elections has sparked widespread suspicion.

Western powers are now being accused of attempting to destabilize Nepal politically by promoting the idea of forming an interim government involving Gen-Z representatives. Seven embassies—including those of the United States, Japan, Australia, France, Finland, and South Korea—have issued a joint statement expressing their views on the recent developments.

Some believe these countries have played a role in influencing the situation, and the RSP is seen as actively trying to capitalize on the chaos.
